Week 3 of Advent
“The Almighty has done great things for me.” – Luke 1:49
Joy is born in moments both ordinary and miraculous. For a mother, it is found in a newborn’s first cry, a safe delivery, and the knowledge that her child is alive and protected.
Through MaterCare’s work, joy takes root even in difficult places in, clinics without resources, in communities burdened by poverty, and in regions where safe childbirth is never guaranteed. Each life safely welcomed into the world is a testimony to God’s goodness and to the generosity of those who support MaterCare’s mission.
This Advent, we rejoice with every mother who has given birth and with every family celebrating the gift of new life.
Prayer
God of Joy, We thank You for every child born safely into this world. Bless mothers who welcome new life, especially those facing hardship. May joy rise even in difficult circumstances, and may every family know Your presence and love. Amen.
