PEACE: “He Brings Calm in the Storm”

Week 2 of Advent

“My peace I give you.” -John 14:27

In the midst of uncertainty, mothers around the world continue to give life. Some do so in hospitals with skilled care; others in conflict zones, refugee camps, and rural villages where childbirth is marked by fear instead of safety.

MaterCare seeks to bring Christ’s peace into these storms. Wherever our doctors and midwives serve, from war-torn regions to remote delivery centers, their hands offer more than medical skill. They bring calm, dignity, and assurance when mothers feel most vulnerable.

Just as Christ entered a world in need of peace, we are called to bring peace to every mother who waits and prays for a safe delivery.

Prayer

Prince of Peace, Grant comfort to every mother facing childbirth in fear or danger. Protect those who serve them with compassion and skill. May Your peace fill hospital rooms, villages, and temporary shelters, so that every mother may give birth surrounded by safety. Amen.

Interactive Challenge: ✨ “Peace in Action”

This week, offer peace to someone in your life; reconcile, forgive, or reach out to a person you’ve missed.
