HOPE: “She Believed in the Promise”

Week 1 of Advent

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.” - Isaiah 9:2

Every mother begins her journey in hope, hope for her child’s future, health, and safety. MaterCare was born from this same hope: to bring light to mothers in places of need and darkness.

In the early 1990s, a small group of Catholic obstetricians said “yes” to God’s call. Their hope has grown into a global mission serving thousands of mothers.

Prayer:

Lord of Hope, Bless all mothers who wait in expectation. Strengthen their hearts and give them courage. May the light of hope that began MaterCare’s mission continue to shine for every mother and child. Amen.
