Mother's Day Gift Catalogue: St. Claret Maternity Centre, Uganda

This Mother's Day, we invite you to honour the mothers in your life by helping mothers in need.

In March 2025, we proudly opened the doors of the newly constructed St. Claret Maternity Health Centre in Nyabwina, Uganda. This vital new facility is dedicated to ensuring safe pregnancies and deliveries for women in the region. While it is true that many women in the underserved parts of Africa face serious risks simply bringing a child into the world, every woman deserves the assurance that every childbirth experience will be in safe and sterile conditions with a happy outcome.  

But we can’t do it alone.

The Centre still needs essential medical equipment and furnishings to operate at full capacity and provide the specialized care mothers and babies deserve.

This is where you come in.

With your help, we can equip each room of the St. Claret Centre. Our Mother’s Day Gift Catalogue includes everything from hospital beds and waiting benches to lockers and cupboards. You can choose a specific item to donate or contribute to one of our priority needs like a nurse’s salary or most needed.

You may also choose to dedicate your gift in honour or memory of someone special. Donations of $2,500 CAD or more will be recognized with your chosen memorial name on a plaque placed in the room where your gift is used—a lasting tribute to your love and generosity, and a beautiful memorial gift for the women in your life. 💐
