This year's Catholic Women's League Social Justice award recipient has been announced: Doris Labelle, from St. Kevin, in the diocese of Sault Ste. Marie, was honoured. As she is 93 years old and not able to attend the ceremony, a group of the executive went to her home in the spring to present her with this well-deserved award.
The Catholic Women's League of Canada is a national service organization of women who are members of the Roman Catholic Church, and who work together to promote Catholic values and to carry out volunteer and charitable work.
