Office Manager/Accounting

I started working at MaterCare in September 2003 as administrative assistant to the Executive Director.  Since 2009 I have been responsible for all aspects of the accounting department for MaterCare Canada and MaterCare International (where at times we work with five different currencies), issuing charitable tax receipts and filing all provincial & federal government  documentation.   My background has mostly been in the medical field with a diploma in Medical Office Administration.  I have worked in several office settings including medical and various accounting departments.  I have recently upgraded my accounting skills part time at Memorial University.   My husband Ted and I have two children, Joshua (6) and Chelsey (2) which keeps me quite busy!
